the project

‘Here we grow!’ is an international living place where a small group of people organize themselves in both time and space to meet their fundamental needs.

On one side, the individual seeks to work with the collective, notably for producing the food.

On the other side, there is the free time and space for each member to explore their own interests and curiosities.

What do you think ?

Do you feel at home ?

What would you add or change ?

What do like the most ? the least?

We can’t wait to go further together!

step by step, baby

Rome wasn't built in a day. It’s about a long term project and a complex ecosystem.

Specific poles will be formed and will work jointly,

for example:

pool 'we grow food'

It supplies organic food. It gives us back the control of our subsistence by growing our own.

It creates links and exchanges with other producers to ease the diversity of ingredients.

livelihood: direct sale to consumers, cooperative with other organic farmers.

the example: 'L'Archenterre', organic vegetable producer in Belgium, active member of the cooperative of producers Agricovert ; sale on different markets in Brussels ; supplier of several restaurants ; shop at the farm.

pool 'we grow buildings'

It designs and builds the infrastructures.

It manage the production and distribution of electricity ; the harvesting, the purification and distribution of water ; the heating system ; the development of low-tech solutions as for example a ground fridge or natural food dryers.

livelihood : renting of infrastructures on the site, retail services, consultancy.

the example : the Colectivo Warehouse in Lisbon or our friends from Design With Sense in Brussels who take sustainable decisions in construction and materials selection.

pool 'we grow kids'

It creates a place with a rich and secure environment that stimulates the child to learn by its autonomy activity. With other kids of different ages, he/she is guided by people with specific talents that give him/her an individual and caring support focused on executive competency acquisition. Everything is made for the children to exchange, to express themselves, to help each other, to laugh, to work and live together.

It connects with the rest of the world and collaborates with local structures.

the example : the approach of Céline Alvarez, the Ferme des enfants of Sophie Rabhi-Bouquet or Enraizar school.

Gennevilliers.jpg
pool 'we grow people'

It supports the group in talent management and the evolution of the internal people. It search for the best collaboration methods.

It accompanies the stays in wwoofing, workaway of European volunteering.

It eases the learning and transmission including in personal development.

livelihood: trainings and conferences for external people ; art and craft sale.

the example : the Université Vivante du Hameau des Buis
