we feel that this life does not suit us though
when we had our daughter, we left
we travelled around the world
we came back, didn’t know where to settle down
so we converted a campervan and moved on the road
we thought that a place to live would attract us
but we didn’t really find it
so we’ve decided to create one
in Ericeira,
there is sea
there is light
there is nature
there is surf
there are amazing people
there is Lisbon close by
there is a big field of almost 40 hectares
it’s on a beautiful hill
there is an old ruin
it’s possible to create so many things there
we don’t want to waste so much water
we don’t want to eat poisonous vegetables
we don’t want to live enclosed
we want to create a clever place
we want to create a beautiful place
we want to create an exciting place

Martin - I’ve opened a restaurant based on organic vegetables from small scale, independant local producers, ‘Au Marché Noir’. Prior to this I worked for 7 years in a communication and management team in Brussels. I dream (among other things) of getting better at surfing, Portuguese and playing the guitar.
Jeanne - Self-proclaimed ‘Queen of cakes’, she loves horses, ice creams, Lego, her cousins and her skateboard.
Julie - I studied design and interior architecture at La Cambre in Brussels and have a masters in environmental management. I’m interested in drawing, scuba diving, whales, cooking and energy. I love to snowboard and I’m excited to start surfing.
